GAME DAY PREPERATION & FIELD SET UP

U8 & 10U Set up - Please arrive one hour before start of Game


  1. Set up goals first so early arriving players can start warming up
  2. Go to the BIG storage unit and get the game day wagon
  3. Game Day wagon should always include the following:
  4. 4 creases (these must be put back in their bags and put back on the wagon after 8U/10U games)
  5. 2 tables (one for 8U and one for 10U)
  6. 4 chairs (2 for each table)
  7. Measuring tape (needed for 10U girls - but always kept on game day wagon)
  8. White plastic markers for the 8M arc (10U girls games only)
  9. Score board
  10. Megaphone (for Pledge)
  11. Horn (for half time and end of game)
  12. First aid kit
  13. Ice packs
  14. Game day binder
  15. Foldable bench - to be used for 8U players (keeps them organized)
  16. Two tent weights (to keep the tent from blowing away)
  17. Grab one tent (two if it is raining - one for each team)
  18. Grab 12 big orange cones
  19. Set Up Fields According to the 8U and 10U diagram below
  20. Use orange cones - six per field for all corners and midfield
  21. Put creases so that the goal will be on the yellow line between 25th and 30th yard line
  22. 4x4 goals for both games - so you will need to get four ready
  23. Bench should go with 8U home team area - this can be used to have 8U players sit


12U Set Up/8U & 10U Tear Down - Please arrive one hour before start of Game


  1. Get two big goals and have them staged on track and ready to go for field transformation
  2. Make sure the soccer goals are turned 180 degrees - facing away from the field - this is to protect players who may run out of bounds.  The goals are attached to the football uprights and cannot be moved farther away than that.
  3. Once game is over - move one tent, one table and two chairs to West side of field (see diagram).  The second tent, table and chairs need to be put back on wagon
  4. Put all 4 creases BACK into their bags and BACK onto cart for the next weekend
  5. Put bench back on wagon


14U - Tear Down

  1. Put goals FULLY away and lock them up
  2. Put All items back on wagon like shown below
  3. Put wagon back in big storage unit
  4. Put orange cones back in big storage unit
  5. Put tent back in big storage unit
